Middle clouds include Altocumulus and Altostratus clouds at 2 to 7 kilometers Low clouds include Stratus, Stratocumulus, and Nimbostratus. They appear lower than 2 kilometers. Cumulus clouds are anywhere between surface level and 13 kilometers.
